i've been inspired by bugginyou to write my own 100 random things list. so here it is. 100 Things You Didn't Want To Know About Me 1. i was born in texas. 2. i used to be shy. 3. i used to be a tomboy. 4. i sometimes still am both shy and a tomboy - depending on the situation. 5. i'm really competitive - but people who know me well can tell when i'm being competitive. 6. i'm nocturnal. 7. people either think i sleep too much, or i don't sleep enough. 8. i never wash my dishes, but enjoy washing other peoples dishes. 9. my room is disorganized and messy. 10. i have one brother - he's older than me. 11. i don't eat pickles, but i always forget to order food without pickles. 12. my favorite holiday is april fools day. 13. when we were little, my brother and i made our own comic hero (supercar) 14. i lived in paris, france for 2 month of my life. 15. i used to eat my ice cream like soup when i was a child. i still do from time to time. 16. i lived in texas & california for the first 6 months of my life. 17. as a teenager i was convinced i was adopted because my nose didn't look like any other family members nose. 18. i'm fluent in 2.5 languages (english, farsi and only half fluent in spanish) 19. other languages i attempted to learn: french, german, russian, greek, html, american sign language, cue. 20. my grammar and spelling suck. 21. i'm a really good secret keeper. 22. i have horrible handwriting. 23. i don't know if god exists. 24. i don't know if i've ever been IN love. 25. i used to save all my money as a teenager. 26. my grandfather likes to joke that i have money in the swiss banks. 27. i used to want to be a poet. 28. i've loved geography since the age of 5. i used to stare at maps. 29. i have a really great long term memory, but my short term memory sucks. 30. i'm slightly dyslexic when it comes to numbers. 31. i'm 1/4 kurdish. 32. i used to get combs stuck in my hair because i was trying to make my very straight hair, curly. 33. i don't know how to flirt. 34. i used to be huge NBA fan. i knew all the players, collected the cards, and my whole room was covered in basketball players. 35. i don't drink caffeine - but cherry coke is my favorite drink of all time. 36. i love giving presents. 37. i'd rather have a night of playing board games, than a night of getting drunk at the bar. 38. mookie blaylock is by far the best name i've ever heard. 39. i used to bend beanie baby tags when i worked at hallmark. 40. i feel lighted headed in hospitals. 41. i used to be a really good athlete till i got mono in grade school. 42. if i ever got a chance to thank old teachers, i'd thank my esl teacher in grade school and my english teacher in high school. also possibly my history teacher in high school - eventhough he wouldn't remember me. 43. most of my childhood was spent in manchester, england. 44. i know how to read palms. 45. i'm a klutz. 46. i could live on PB & J. 47. i love to debate. 48. my favorite place is the lincoln memorial steps. 49. my ears aren't pierced 50. they were pierced when i was 14, but they closed up quickly and i was too lazy to repierce. 51. i didn't smoke pot till was 19 or 20 because i was convinced i would join the CIA one day. 52. i used to want to be a storm chaser. 53. i love the smell of gasoline. 54. i'm not a very affectionate person. 55. my friends parents usually love me. 56. making people laugh is my favorite thing to do. 57. i'm very lazy. 58. i'm very ambitious. 59. i make a game out of everything i do. 60. i always wear my seatbelt. 61. i make george dubya like mistakes (making up words that don't exist & messing up sentences). 62. i have funny vomit stories. 63. i've been poor, middle class and rich. 64. superstition reigns in iranian culture and it drives me insane. 65. i still knock on wood. 66. i'm a loyal friend. 67. i'm generally a nice person. 68. but i'll stick up for myself or the underdog if i feel like they're getting taken advantage of. 69. i've never been in a real physical fight. 70. i almost got into a fight when this girl wanted to beat up my best friend. 71. i was an angsty teen when it came to my family. 72. i was also an idealist as a teenager. 73. i don't trust people. 74. i had a friend who was in a gang. 75. my biggest flaw is i'm probably too honest. 76. i only lie for humor. 77. i am able to let go of first impressions. 78. some of the people i despised most become good friends of mine. 79. i'm dorky. 80. i'm very picky. but when i find a guy worth fawning over, i become overly infatuated. 81. i like my hands. 82. i'm naturally good in math but have no desire to study it. 83. i love working out math problems. 84. i get worked up about two things: bad tippers and capital punishment. 85. i've lived through air raids. 86. artists and athletes amaze me. 87. i have a fear of most living things that fly: bees, flies, butterflies, birds. 88. i'm polite. 89. whiskey is like kryptonite for me. 90. i'm paranoid. 91. while playing hide and seek, i always prefered seeking. 92. my friends say i give the best advice. 93. i always win at clue. 94. i'm self absorbed. 95. i listen more to criticism than to compliments. 96. i have moles on my lip and the palm of my left hand. 97. i can't eat chicken or fish if it still looks like a carcass. 98. i want to learn to play the steel drums one day. 99. saturday night live is my favorite tv show of all time. 100. i never thought i could come up with enough random facts about myself to finish this list.
